“New” Sherpa 600 DD arrived yesterday. Searched until my fingers fell off, but the only other pics I found on the net were for silver and black dial versions… So I guess this brown version must be pretty rare. Now has some slight “tropicalization”, which gives it a bit of an aventurine vibe :cool:

I’ve assisted at my first watch auction yesterday (although remotely). It was a mono-brand sale (>200 Zenith pieces, half wrist-watches, half pocket-watches). My impression coming out of it was that for 80% of the desirable pieces the expert had had no clue what to estimate. Go figure (IIRC)...
