There is a very nice Mark 1 white dial chronograph on eBay, but it has an odd second hand with an arrow at the end. Can any of you experts assess whether that's a proper second hand or some kind of replacement that would reduce the value of the watch.

what country are you in? There is a place called watchArtexchange in the US that does world class work. I have several aquastar benthos 500s that have this unique timer, that is usually broken and almost no one in the world can fix it, and they did. Their work is guaranteed, for at least a year..
