What to say?

We all know there are some collectors who do not mind acquiring a watch with damage at a discounted price, knowing that they will unlikely be in a position to purchase a pristine example at a much higher price.

To some, such a watch is appealing.

I like the vintage Rolex Daytona of the "Paul Newman" variety. I'll never spend "that kind of money" to buy one . . . and I personally wouldn't buy one in poor condition at a bargain price, but the beauty and the opportunity is in the eyes of the beholder, along with the open wallet. :)

The movement looks to be unmolested and the dial will look OK - perhaps fine -to the person sitting across from you.

If someone here bought it to enjoy it, I'd applaud the acquisition.
