thank you mate! this is a fun little watch to own that's for sure, would love to make it even more nicer tho, parts are a bit of a grail for many of us haha
The beautiful patina on your watch reminds me of the Super-Dive that Martijn featured prominently in his book. They could be sisters!

yes indeed it is kinda similar, well, I think I will keep it this way, because I really love how the dial looks when the sun hits it...way more vibrant than a black dial.
i am featured in the book of Martjin (at the end, I made the drawing of that crazy 7 time zone prototype).
and yeah, it's part of its story to look this way too...so, yeah, maybe I should focus on 1145R parts haha, still it works perfectly fine and is apparently my most accurate watch (I own 2 Universal Geneve aswell)

You should! I'm looking at the page of Martijn's book now. Didn't know that that was you! It's a beautiful piece. You're quite talented. I love the use of color and the design aesthetic. When I first paged through the book when I first got it, I thought it was a reprint of a 60s magazine ad. Then I saw the name. Wow. Great to make your acquaintence.

I want one framed on my wall now. :)

And of *all* the Enicars!

Hi you Enicar-geeks,
Here´s Another one and also from Sweden. I really love all the great and different models of Enicar-watches but I´m preferring the more simpel but nervertheless great design-pieces from the 70:ies since I have 2 Heuer Camaros!

Here are the 3 current Enicars that I have, the two first are NOS-watches!

I also love classic cars and espially my 1969 Camaro with ZL-1 tribute 427 big block engine:

Another Ebay find. Can't wait to send it for service and get it running like it should. Any recommendations in the US to send it for service?

I use Jarett Harkness at Unwindintime in Texas. Honest, fair, and easy to deal with. Electric Hamiltons are his specialty but he can work on Enicars.

I might try him. I'm in Texas and less than 200 miles from him so that would work out better with shipping. Thanks!

He’s great. His turnaround time is about 4-6 weeks, which is common I think. I haven’t had him service one of my chronos, but he should be able to do it as he’s very familiar with Valjoux, Venus, Landeron etc.

Well the search continues, he doesn't service chronos.
